About Tutoring2Inspire

Our Mission

Tutoring2Inspire is a for students, by students 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to bridging global educational gaps by providing free, personalized tutoring and meaningful cultural exchange opportunities to students across the globe. By connecting students with strong academic backgrounds to peers in underserved communities worldwide, we empower learners to achieve academic success, broaden their global perspectives, and foster mutual understanding across socioeconomic and geographic divides.

Our History

The reality today is that the standard of education is deeply rooted in socioeconomic status. Tutoring2Inspire was founded by students Jay Panta and Sam Keon to address the growing education gap found in students who struggle academically, geographically, and socioeconomically (Why We Founded Tutoring2Inspire). What began as a two-member initiative has already grown into a 450+ member nonprofit organization, providing free tutoring and cultural exchange opportunities to underserved students worldwide. Since launching, we’ve already supported over 400 students, trained 20+ tutors, and even built a fully-functional computer laboratory in Nepal.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every student, regardless of background, has equal access to education and the opportunity to succeed. Through free tutoring and cultural exchange, Tutoring2Inspire seeks to bridge socioeconomic and geographic divides, fostering both academic growth and cross-cultural understanding. By 2026, we strive to expand our reach to students across the U.S., Nepal, and beyond by onboarding 50+ new students, training 25+ tutors, and hosting monthly cultural exchange sessions.

Get Involved

Tutors/Student Ambassadors will receive a minimum of 2 hours of community service credit for each session they tutor (exceptions may apply).

The application process was really smooth and well-organized. It was super straightforward and safe the entire way! It’s such a great community service opportunity, not just because you earn double hours, but because you’re actually helping kids who really need the support.
