Why Nepal Matters
Jay and Sam shared the organization’s Nepal work, the purpose behind cultural exchange, and the responsibility that comes with long-term international partnership.
By Jay Panta and Sam Keon
Jay Panta and Sam Keon presented the experiences and questions that shaped Tutoring2Inspire’s focus on Nepal. Their message centered on educational opportunity, cultural connection, and the responsibility to build with schools and communities instead of working around them.
The presentation connected weekly virtual exchange to in-person relationships, educational support, and school partnerships. It also explained why cultural exchange can strengthen confidence and belonging even when a conversation is not built around a traditional academic lesson.
For Tutoring2Inspire, Nepal is not a short-term destination. It is where years of research, personal connection, and sustained collaboration have shaped the organization’s model and long-term commitments.
